Whether you are a interested in outdoor skills, interested in rural skills and travelling to beautiful locations, qualified in Forest School, Outdoor Learning or as a Bushcraft Leader we have enjoyable skills days that are open to all. For those qualified, professional development is something we must do annually to ensure we are up to date with the latest regulations, skills and current practise. These CPD or Certificated Professional Development Days count towards your Professional Development Log for the year. You receive an e-book of the course and a Certificate. These sessions offer you the opportunity to simply enjoy a day in a beautiful location. take time out for yourself to recharge, or take care of your planning for the year, are a great opportunity to learn new skills, refresh old ones, link up with likeminded people who can help you and are a lot of fun!

Fire & Food
We run this course in Ascot where we have a successful CPD programme. We are delighted to be headed back to the glorious private woodland at Titness, right on the boundary of Windsor Great Park and teeming with wildlife.
We also run this course in National Trust private woodland estate in the picturesque National Trust village of Coleshill, Oxfordshire.
The morning will be an opportunity to be guided through lighting fires for different purposes: - Problems with wind? wet? wood choice? tinder? How to light fire using different fire 'lays' for different conditions and keep it going in difficult circumstances. - Confidence and a chance to practice with fire strikers; traditional flint and steel; bow drill. - How to find and choose different natural tinder and what wood to choose and how to lay it for warmth, cooking, quick fires and slow burning fires. - How to use fire pans and ground fires safely.
The afternoon will be a chance to cook foods suitable for a typical forest school / outdoor session over a campfire. - Foods cooked in leaves and on sticks. - Hazel leaf macaroon; Cowboy coffee; dandelion coffee; cobnut pasta; campfire bread and more. - Foods suitable for a 2 hour session. - A chance to cook food on and try using a Scandinavian skillet; Dutch oven cast iron set; a Hungarian Kotlich; grill; fry; bake; roast.
What to expect:
The day will be practical, you will be guided through firelighting and cooking. All guidance, ingredients and recipes for the cooking will be provided. There will be a chance to try all food cooked.

Finish off with a celebration cook-out under the stars to cement team decisions and action.
Team Dynamic Training: Solve your team building and integration issues in one clear and purposeful day with our research-backed workshop. We lead and facilitate a team behavioural awareness workshop using the certified Strength Deployment Inventory in the morning. In the afternoon we facilitate awareness and consequences of behaviour and team integration through our experiential learning workshop, which allows your team the opportunity to align into their best performing selves for the team outcomes you need. We conclude with a celebration of achievements and peer-to-peer coaching skills which ensure the workshop outcomes are aligned with action back in the workplace.
